Leeds first pre-season defeat

Aisay! mana boleh?! How come can lose?! then again its not Leeds' first eleven, has some new faces, some trialist, etc...here's the news...

Leeds United suffered their first pre-season defeat of the campaign after going down 2-1 at Hartlepool United.

James Brown opened the scoring for the League Two side after just 14 minutes before doubling their advantage early in the second half.

Steve Stone pulled a goal back for Leeds on the hour-mark, but it wasn't enough and after a good spell of pressure from United, the tempo slowed as both sides made changes.

Dave Livermore, a £250,000 signing from Millwall, made his full debut for Leeds while Robbie Elliot, who has joined on trial after turning down a deal at Newcastle United, played the full 90 minutes at left back. Former Celtic youngster Mark Fotheringham also featured in midfield after joining on trial.
