Juan Pablo Montoya says he made the shock decision to abandon Formula 1 and switch to NASCAR because it was too good an opportunity to pass up.The Colombian stunned the racing world on Sunday when he announced that he would be taking up stock car racing in 2007.
Elaborating on the reasons for his decision in a press conference at Chicagoland, Montoya insisted that he had F1 offers on the table but that none of them were as appealing as pursuing a new career in NASCAR.
It's a shame to see him go, the raw and aggresive driver he is, compared to schumi and the iceman...all the best John...one of my favourite drivers...
