Fire drill?!

How do measure the effectiveness of a fire drill? CP Tower had theirs today with the St Johns Ambulance and fire engines and all that.

A mail was sent out by the facility guys warning us a fire drill will take place this week and advice us where were assembly point, don't use the elevator, etc. The thing is most people knew it was going happen today and at 10.30am *wow!! what info* & I was one of the them :-D. We being heroes took the elevator down 15 minutes before it happened, just *lepaking*, reading papers and all that. To my surprise, it wasn't only me who found out about this drill but a whole lot of other people as well...hmmm...and everyone was downstairs *lepaking* to beat the *traffic jam* at the staircase and not forgeting the sweat too.

The question is "is the objective met for the fire drill?" to me it defeats the purpose since so many already knew of this *suppose surprised* drill, where you never know when a real fire may happen...yeah yeah i know i'm one of the culprits...but hey its better than sweating like a horse ;-P
